Our policy- the dos and dont’s

  • We only use information for the agreed purpose

  • We only collect personal information for the services we provide.

  • Your information is available anytime you wish to view it.

  • We ensure that your information is retained and stored in a secure environment.

  • When we collect client information, we will always explain the reasons why the information is collected and how it will be used.

  • Besides our staff, we share this information with the insurer to order to complete the transaction requested of us, by the client

  • We don’t give out any personal information, unless it is required in the transaction of our business interaction or if a third party has been authorised to have it.

  • We don’t breach client confidentiality

  • We don’t collect information that isn’t required to complete the services we agreed on.

  • We don’t leave client information visible for other people to see.

Our processes

  1. Client meetings. We explain to our customer the purpose of collecting personal information about them. We explain why we need the personal information to achieve our goals of transacting business. Sometimes we are required to collect information by Law, such as having to identify a person.

  2. Client information. We explain to our clients how we handle their personal information We only collect personal information directly from them or from a public source. We only use their information to provide our services to them. We are required to keep information for seven years after our client relationship ends.

  3. Client data. We will review our processes every quarter. We only keep client data that is relevant to the transaction of business.

  4. Systems. We always make sure our software is up to date to make sure the collected information is secure.

  5. Insurance. Each October on our anniversary, we review our Professional Indemnity Insurance to ensure that we are insured for a breach of privacy.

  6. Data breach. We have a process in place a response plan for what to do if our business is affected by a data breach.
